Jiang Chen's response was decisive. Since he could not avoid it, he might as well let Mother Earth state her conditions. Regardless of what the conditions were, easy or difficult, he would find a way to fulfill them, to resolve this karma for his master.

"You want me to speak? This matter has come so suddenly, it's completely unexpected. I can't think of any demands at the moment, wouldn't you rather consider what you might do to help me?"
Mother Earth chuckled lightly, not taking advantage of the situation to make demands, but instead, she let Jiang Chen think for himself.
With one sentence, Mother Earth had completely taken the initiative. If Mother Earth had spoken, then it would have been whatever she said. However, she deliberately did not speak, letting Jiang Chen make the offer instead.
