The Jade Emperor knew of Jiang Hao's intentions, but still feigns confusion.
The Jade Emperor is not particularly close to the Buddhists, and certainly would not offend the powers of Heaven on their behalf.
After paying his respects to the Jade Emperor, Jiang Hao, with an aggrieved look on his face, expressed, "Your Majesty, I came here to seek justice for my unfortunate descendants."
"To let Your Majesty know, just a while ago, a monster monkey intruded into the Netherworld. It initially caused havoc in the Underworld, and then stirred up the Underworld River, releasing countless demons imprisoned in hell, causing chaos in the human world."
"One of my descendants, seeing the monster monkey wreak havoc, faced danger and rushed into the Netherworld, trying their utmost to defeat and suppress the monster monkey."
