US Army soldiers saw the drone's ferocity, that a single dive attack took out an air defense position and killed more than a dozen comrades, leaving all of them shaken with fear. They had always fought with the advantage of superior air support, never having experienced an attack by enemy air superiority; they were extremely unaccustomed to it.
However, experienced as they were, the US soldiers did not panic despite being at a disadvantage. Under the command of their leaders, they fired all their Stinger surface-to-air missiles in preparation to attack the drone in the sky. Meanwhile, other soldiers sought cover and opened fire at the drone.
