Although the underground traversal capability is powerful, the Drone Avatar consumes a significant amount of Energy Points while navigating underground, making it a major consumer of energy. Moreover, during underground traversal, since the drone has already changed its shape, it nearly loses all of its combat power. Apart from the Vulcan Gun at the nose, which can fire normally, all other combat abilities disappear. At the same time, the Drone Avatar's stealth ability also completely vanishes, unless it reverts back to its original B-2 shape.
