Beneath the ground of St. Peter's Basilica, next to the room where the amnesiac young man had risen from the coffin, there was a very secret room. This room was also completely sealed off, with no entrance or exit. Inside the room were a few pieces of furniture so decayed they were rotting, covered everywhere with spiderwebs.
Beyond that, in the center of the room, there was a tall stone altar for offerings, with a greatsword that no longer showed its color embedded in a boulder in front of it. Behind this greatsword, a person sat cross-legged. His head hung low, making it impossible to discern his face. He was motionless, his body extremely emaciated, resembling a layer of human skin draped over a skeleton, the muscle tissue under the skin all but disappeared. His exposed fingernails were very long, and his hair nearly touched the ground.
