The former President of the United States, although confident in his nation's martial force, had to admit that after witnessing the high-tech weaponry of Dream Island, especially the space-based missile defense system deployed in outer space, the United States was no longer a match for Dream Island in conventional warfare. Therefore, the United States had previously compromised with Dream Island and then secretly paid a large amount of US dollars in reparation to Dream Island.
After suffering a major loss, the United States began to formulate a long-term strategy to subvert Dream Island. However, this long-term strategy wouldn't see results for at least five years, so during this time, the United States' strategy was to maintain superficial peace with Dream Island while fighting against it covertly, thereby buying a lot of time to completely subvert Dream Island.
