Yan Fei glanced around and noticed that only Professor Gale was present. He asked, "Where are your research assistants? Where are they now? Are they your accomplices?"
Gale seemed somewhat dejected as he answered, "Although I've always conducted scientific research on that mysterious Light Portal, the nature of it remains completely unknown to me. As soon as we entered the Light Portal, I got separated from my team members. Then I found myself in this cave without anyone else around. However, my team was simply composed of my scientific expedition members; they are ordinary people and unaware of my secret actions."
