With azure sea and blue sky coupled with an agreeably mild climate, Gu Fan rode in the sunlight on a boat, relishing the sea breeze, listening to the seagulls chirping around him. As he saw the island off the coast drawing nearer and nearer, his heart started to flutter.
"We're here!" The boat touched the shore, and, just like the other tourists, Gu Fan stepped onto the island, immediately absorbing the joyous atmosphere.
On the beach, people were chasing each other, laughing, and some were even having a photoshoot. Despite being crowded, it was not congested and seemed like an ideal holiday spot.
However, Gu Fan wasn't here for a holiday. He had business to tend to. First, he checked into the pre-booked hotel and put his luggage in the room. Then, he started touring the island.
The island was of moderate size, taking about five hours to circle on foot. Gu Fan walked along the coast, observing and searching.
