Usually when a man and a woman go out together, the man takes the lead while the woman simply hopes to be guided. That's why Su Hui followed Gu Fan's lead.
If they were going out to have fun, then they might as well have as much fun as possible and forget all their troubles. Gu Fan took Su Hui to the largest amusement park in the city. They rode every thrilling ride -- from drop towers to roller coasters, screaming with no end in sight.
The sensation of freefall from the drop tower gave Gu Fan and Su Hui the feeling that their souls were being flung out of their bodies. Their hearts pounded and took a long while to calm down.
The intensity and thrill of the roller coaster, together with the visual shock of the steep plummets, had them both feeling like their hearts were about to give out.
