"Excuse?" Muria simply couldn't understand after hearing his Teacher's words. What the hell? What was his Teacher trying to do?
"Yes, I need a reasonable excuse to take action against other Deities."
Muria was very clear that, although both involved taking action against Deities, having a reason or not was incredibly important. One represented order, while the other descended into chaos, and the two types of Deities were treated completely differently.
Even though he was enemies with practically all the Divine Beings in the world because of his greed for too many divine positions, this situation was only unilateral in his opinion.
The Deities whose divine positions overlapped with his didn't necessarily think the same way; perhaps some of them would even like to join forces with him. But the precondition was that he appeared to be a being with whom cooperation was possible.
