"Finally, it's over," the general leapt off his stretcher, just moments after he'd been brought back to the fortress by personal guards from where he'd fallen. Although the journey had taken no more than a few minutes, it had felt like torture to him, so many people were watching him, it was truly embarrassing.
"You bastard, why are you splattering so much blood on me?" the fortress general said angrily, looking at the ferocious beast's blood that had soaked his armor and inner robe. He glared at his aide who stood beside him, "You've been spraying this blood all the way."
"Isn't that meant to make it look like your wounds are particularly severe, general? So many nobles have already been killed, you can't bear that consequence. So, the more severe your injury looks now, the smaller the responsibility becomes later."
