The two walked to the end of the corridor and entered another passageway, which led them to a series of adjoining rooms.
There were no numbers on the rooms and, finally, after passing by more than a dozen rooms, Little Xu stopped in front of one of them, leading Xiao Mu.
Little Xu paused, pointed at the door, and said, "Mr. Xiao, the previous Mr. Wang stayed in this room. He went for a meal and isn't here at the moment. Would you like the room to the right or the one to the left?"
"Either is fine. I have no particular requirement for the room. Let's take the one on the left," Xiao Mu casually chose one.
"Mr. Xiao, please."
Little Xu, standing sideways, helped push the door to the left room open for Xiao Mu to enter.
The room was not large, merely a one-bedroom suite, probably about forty to fifty square meters in size. Yet, the arrangements inside were clean and came with all kinds of living necessities.
