Secretary Jiao accompanied Yan Fei on a tour of the cattle farm. There was no rehearsed routine; Yan Fei led him directly to where everything was happening with no pretense.
After looking around, Secretary Jiao was genuinely surprised. He asked Yan Fei, "Did all of this come from your cattle farm?"
It was not surprising that Secretary Jiao was amazed. He was looking at the breeding bulls on the cattle farm. Each of the eleven fat, robust breeding bulls, as well as the young calves being prepared to become breeding bulls, were extraordinary even though they weren't fully grown yet.
Most people viewed Yan Fei as a lucky kid, not even quite a young adult. It was one thing for a cattle farm to be profitable, perhaps that could be credited to luck, but breeding bulls was something else.
Yan Fei nodded, "Yes! We began raising the larger ones last year, and they were only sent for breeding after the New Year."
