The voice sounded young, clearly different from the middle-aged man who led the way earlier.

Old Yang wondered, but under someone else's roof, he had no choice but to bow his head. It was their turf, he was just a truck driver, his job was to drive.
Having been a truck driver for some time, he understood one cannot offend local big shots dabbling in illegal activities. One wrong word and he could end up buried in some ditch.
He stayed silent, but the young man who had climbed into the truck was chatty. "Master, your driving skills are impressive! You can back up anywhere in pitch black, you must have been doing this for years!"
Old Yang responded modestly with a proud smile, "It's my livelihood, I have to be skilled at it to feed myself."
The young man continued chatting and then proposed, "Would you teach me how to drive? Please, master?"
