On her way home, Xu Xiaoyan was full of energy and excitement.

As soon as she stepped inside, she let out a gleeful gasp, dumped her small backpack, and threw herself onto the bed, her cheeks rosy from indiscernible thoughts. She then couldn't help but spat at herself, realizing how foolish she seemed. She covered her blazing face with the quilt, and started giggling to herself.
Wrapped in the comforter like a little girl, rolling around, she was filled with an overwhelming sense of happiness that was impossible to suppress, no matter how hard she tried.
