"I clearly got hit already." Lina covered her head and took a few steps back, giggling, "And I didn't say anything wrong. They indeed didn't agree to negotiate because before we could even propose a negotiation, they had already halted hostilities."
"Huh?" Pannis paused, asking in confusion, "They halted the fighting without saying anything?"
"Yes, they seemed to see that we had no intention of continuing the fight, so they simply stopped their attacks." Catherine, worried that Lina might blurt out something absurd, quickly responded, "We didn't expect them to show goodwill on their own. However, since they took the initiative to cease fighting, we definitely wouldn't keep pestering them."
