The worn wooden door of the distant room opened slowly once again, yet only Lina emerged. Pannis lifted his head and almost failed to recognize the girl before him. The priestess had traces of tears on her cheeks, but the melancholy and trouble that often furrowed her brow lately had completely vanished. One could even say the fear and timidity which the girl typically exhibited when not pretending had been largely swept away by her meeting with her sister. From the subtle changes in her demeanor to her movements, Lina became unrecognizable, as if she had been transformed.
Confronted with this relatively unfamiliar Lina, Pannis' mouth curled up ever so slightly, his eyes twinkling with a hint of amusement as he stared intently at the girl's face for a long while. Unable to resist, the girl touched her own face and asked in confusion, "What's wrong? Is there something on my face? That's strange, there's nothing."
