"Are you ready?" Catherine asked in a whisper that barely rippled the water, "We're about to start advancing."
The group of five was huddled in a hollow at the bottom of the sea. Their heads poked just over the edge, offering a view of the Sea Race creatures, controlled and moving about frequently. The closer they got to the island indicated by Doris, the steeper the seabed landscape became. More patrolling, enslaved Sea Race creatures appeared – and their strength was distinctly superior. At the periphery, the strongest teams they had faced had been mere Gold Rank Sea Race or even just Silver Rank, but now there were at least ten Legendary Rank Sea Race creatures among the dense patrolling teams nearby. More astoundingly, these Legendary Rank creatures seemed much more aware than before, even giving an impression of individuality.
