"Stupid mice, thank you for seeing me off," Pannis said, hands on his hips and a smug look on his face as he pointed at the dense crowd of giant arrow mice lying on the ground, numbering four to five thousand, shouting with a wild laugh, "Thinking of eating us? You're far from capable. Maybe come back when you're ten times more in number, hahaha."

The spot where Pannis stood was no longer within the confines of the forest meadow. It was clear that the closer one got to the edge of the meadow, the shorter the grass and the denser the trees grew. The herbivores of the meadow seemed to have an innate fear of the forest, not daring to step into the dense woods. Alarmed by the fleeing team, some animals scampered in all directions but would immediately turn around upon reaching the area where the trees grew denser, running along the edge of the forest toward the distance.
