Du You could tell that the enemy only had two fifth-tier abilities: one was the black light emitted from his eyes, which he had used to intercept Du You's fireball previously. The other was a defensive skill akin to black mist.
It enveloped himself, neutralizing all of Du You's attacks. The Disintegration Spell entered it as if sinking into a quagmire, making no disturbance, and Soul Pierce also failed to penetrate, suggesting it had soul defense capabilities.
Only the direct attack ability of the Energy Gathering Magic Cannon was truly effective, causing the enemy's black mist to constantly fluctuate. Other abilities, although released by the enemy, were not very strong.
Those fourth-tier combat skills were simply no match for Du You, so the enemy eventually just stood still and attacked like a turret. But this turret was too tough, with overwhelming firepower, and Du You was still suppressed.
