There were indeed many large trees growing on both sides, but they could no longer block the sunlight.
On the ground, there were no big mushrooms either, just a few small ones. However, there were plenty of large trees around.
Despite not being very strong, these Mushroom Warriors were rather troublesome. They'd pop out of nowhere to attack, causing quite the scare in the dark, too much for the average person to withstand.
Fortunately, these Mushroom Warriors didn't have the ability to attack from a distance; at most, they could grow mushrooms to nauseate their enemies. Once the group reached the bright sunlight, the Mushroom Warriors retreated.
