With the Undead Mages putting forth all their effort, Du You was also faced with trouble. It wasn't that there were too many Undead or they were too strong, but rather that the enemy possessed aerial combat capabilities.
Some transparent Ghosts and other Undead of the White Bone or corpse variety were flying in the air. The problem was that neither the Demonic Flame Skeletons nor the Demon Extermination Spirits could fly, leaving them without a means to deal with it.
The larger Demon Extermination Spirits had wings and were indeed capable of flying, but their flying speed was not fast, nor could they reach great heights.
If they flew up, it would be pointless, better to stay on the ground. Naturally, the airborne Undead didn't dare to carelessly touch the ground, for their fragile bodies could easily be knocked down.
The most troublesome aspect was that they were now up in the sky, and facing these flying Undead was a real headache.
