Though the Flames Legion were victorious, there was the fact that Ophelia hadn't piloted a Gun Rider before, and she was repeatedly ambushed in a 1V100 situation. Analyzing objectively, the extent of her defeat was largely accidental, but she really did lose to the Flames Legion.
People were shocked... There were no cheers or applause around, and after a while, someone shouted loudly, "Shit, that's a dirty win." Immediately, a chorus of curses followed, everyone feeling indignant about Ophelia's loss.
The second match was Hugo, a career soldier in his thirties.
