Captain David pushed through the crowd to Dr. Edward's room door. Just a while ago, he had sworn that if another murder occurred, the Blue Pearl would return immediately. Now that the murder had occurred barely ten minutes after he'd spoken, it all seemed like a farce to him.
"Captain David, I hope you'll keep your word." A passenger said to David, bravely suppressing the unease in his chest.
All eyes were on Captain David.
They all wanted to know which side Captain David would choose between personal gain and honor.
"Kain, prepare for return!" Captain David didn't ponder for long.
"But..." Kain wanted to say something else, but was interrupted by Captain David.
"Return to harbor!" David roared, venting all the resentment in his heart.
"Understood." Kain led some crew members towards the cockpit.
