Atop several thousand feet high precipice, the mighty corpse of the Demon General Lie Ying swayed in the gale. Its whole body was sagging, entirely deprived of the ability to soar above the heavens or to intimidate the open air with its eagle-like strength. What remained was just over half of its mutilated body.
Below the precipice, a mound of dirt more than ten meters high suddenly burst open, and a demonic rat the size of a grindstone emerged. Its body was pitch-black like ink, its sharp teeth gleamed with a cold light, and its small eyes emitted flashes of light. As the saying goes, "A rat's vision only captures a few inches ahead." The great rat stretched out its sharp claws, splattering sparks around it. The surrounding gigantic stones were easily torn apart by its claws as if they were tofu.
