News of Boke's death from a heart attack rapidly spread.
When the New York police arrived, after thorough investigation and gathering evidence, they discovered that Boke had indeed been murdered following an "accident." Forensic examination revealed no other issues.
The direct cause of death was acute heart attack, as he failed to take his medication on time, leading to his death. Along with Boke, his butler and two bodyguards in the house were also killed.
All three were gunshot wounds.

The New York police did not suspect anyone else.
The case was quickly closed.
