Chai Ren returned to his room.
Standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, he looked out at the landscape, his thoughts continuously revisiting Fuloz's demeanor today. He was still confused; the probing during lunch seemed to indicate that nothing detrimental to him would happen.
Fuloz hadn't shown any other signs of abnormality.
Yet, Chai Ren was still not at ease.
He thought for a moment.
He took out his phone.
He dialed Tang Qing's number. Given the time difference, it was morning in Huaxia, and Tang Qing had not gone to class yet. If he called him after lunch, he guessed Tang Qing might retaliate the same way next time.
The thought was frightening.
"Good morning, Young Master Chai," Tang Qing's cheerful voice came through.
"It's evening here," Chai Ren said with a wry smile.
"Then good evening. Is something wrong over there?" Tang Qing asked knowingly, having hired a Fighter, he inevitably knew about Chai Ren's every move.
