His men discovered a gambler who frequently won quite a bit of money at his casino. It wasn't unusual--losing and winning is normal--this person didn't always win, just won more than lost, it could only be praised as good luck.
But the next day.
He went to a fellow casino in search of a friend to discuss business matters elsewhere. When he accidentally spotted this fighter, he became curious and asked the casino manager to pull up surveillance footage. The fighter had won a considerable sum of money again.
