Tang Kai was taken aback after hearing Wangsa's words.
He had no idea that Ling had taken over Su Yu's territory. Su Yu commanded nearly fifty thousand soldiers and ruled over a population exceeding a million. Judging by the strength Ling has shown, there was quite a gap in every aspect other than money.
Yet, such an impossible thing had happened?
"Did they fight?" Tang Kai asked anxiously.
"No, I'm not clear about the exact details, but they must have reached some sort of agreement which will only be known later. However, my main reason for this call is not to discuss this, but to ask you if you are interested in being my business partner." Wangsa revealed his real purpose.
"A business partnership? Why? You shouldn't be short of money?" Tang Kai asked, puzzled. Could Wangsa be short of money? While he himself might be, his family certainly wasn't.
