After having a chat with Zhang Jing, Tang Qing went to talk with Li Jianguo. He had not mentioned his plan to Li Jianguo earlier while they were eating, to avoid making it awkward in case Zhang Jing wanted to stay at the restaurant. If she didn't want to leave, it would have been embarrassing for both her and him.
For this, Li Jianguo didn't have any objections. Zhang Jing was, after all, brought in by Tang Qing. He didn't mind how Tang Qing wished to arrange things, since it was just a matter of hiring another person after all.

Tang Qing went upstairs, saw Li Kai still watching TV, and quickly dragged him downstairs to study.
"Jing, I'm heading out now. Remember to go and register on time," Tang Qing reminded her before leaving.
