While crossing an intersection, the soldier suddenly spoke in English: "Driver, you have taken the wrong way, turn right ahead."
Chai Ren and Liu Qian were not angry, they were simply surprised that the soldier could speak English so fluently and were curious as to why they were being instructed to take a right turn.
"Turn right to where?" the Black driver asked in confusion.
The soldier continued: "The nearest high-end car rental is about 1.3 miles straight ahead on the right, the route you're taking is wrong."
"NO NO NO, there's no rental place there," the Black driver denied, shaking his head. He had no good intentions himself, but he honestly hadn't heard of a rental place there.
The soldier replied coolly: "It just opened last Friday, apart from that, to reach any other eligible nearest car rental would take 5.3 miles. So, now, please turn right at the intersection ahead."
