Early in the morning, there is someone driving into Naidan's Manor to deliver food.
After passing two checkpoints, a rather shabby looking small truck managed to enter the manor's security perimeter smoothly.
They continued to drive a further two kilometers.
The vehicle arrived at the last checkpoint of the manor, which was guarded by Naidan's 'guards'. Unlike the previous two checkpoints which were guarded by 'camp masters' under Naidan, this defense ring was much more fortified.
The driver's name was Lu Ci. His parents were both Chinese who grew rice in this area, while he worked as a driver under Naidan's influence. His daily tasks were to deliver wine, meat, rice, and the like to the manor, as well as steamed buns and cornbread for the women.
