Two hours later.
The interrogation of Ba Song had ended.
At this point, Ba Song seemed relieved, the vicious look had left his face, replaced by a smile. This conversation made him recall his sinful life, and he admitted to his guilt, even though he still wanted to live. But he knew it wasn't possible. He was content to die with a smile now.
"Mr. Ba Song, thank you for your cooperation," the soldier said with a smile, which seemed less frightening to Ba Song now.
Ba Song sighed and asked, "Can you tell me now, who hired you to kill me?"
The soldier kept his promise, leaned in and whispered a name into Ba Song's ear, then ended Ba Song's life before he could even register any surprise.
After dealing with Ba Song, the two soldiers didn't linger. They quickly left the villa to collect the cash and other property Ba Song left behind.
