The driver, seeing the robot's displeasure, immediately apologized, "I'm sorry."
The car then fell into silence. To either refresh himself or dissipate the awkward atmosphere, the driver lit up a cigarette.
The robot on the back seat kept rotating its head, continuously collecting road and environmental information. Though seemingly useless, it's part of a necessary process. Every plan requires a lot of auxiliary information for reference, and even seemingly useless information can often play a key role. This is the core rule of the entire command room's intelligence gathering plan: all information has value, and if it doesn't at present, it can be stored until it does.
In about twenty minutes, the taxi arrived in downtown Bangkok.
"Where would you like to go?" The middle-aged driver, nearing downtown, asked. The robot, earlier, had only mentioned downtown without specifying an address.
"Take me around downtown," the robot said without hesitation.
"Okay," the driver agreed.
