Although some force was intent on assassinating Zhou Tian, they were generally quite aware that capturing Zhou Tian would be an immensely difficult task.
Zhou Tian after all was a King Level Boss. Regardless of his current attributes, he was undoubtedly a formidable force once he acquired his domain. With a power like Zhou Tian's, it would take another King Level Boss or a being of yet higher order to do him harm. Generic monsters would barely pose a threat.
However, since that force has deployed monsters against Zhou Tian, it directly indicates one thing – they believed their team to be a threat to Zhou Tian, or at least capable of inflicting some damage. Otherwise, knowing Zhou Tian's combat ability, they wouldn't conceive such a foolish plan, no matter how desperate.
As a result, Zhou Tian sensed the approaching enemies. But, even with his awareness of their presence, the inevitable was still bound to happen.
