In just a moment, the Lord of Flames had successfully increased the distance between himself and Zhou Tian. Although the small gap couldn't deter Zhou Tian from getting close, his tactics were enough to prove that he had the means for Zhou Tian to no longer approach him.
However, even though the Lord of Flames had demonstrated his power, Zhou Tian showed no sign of giving up.
Why give up? If Zhou Tian wanted to leave, the Lord of Flames truly had no ability to keep him. Zhou Tian had chosen to stay and fight till now for two reasons. Firstly, he wanted to see how the core of the Lord of Flames differed from ordinary elemental spirits. Secondly, Zhou Tian intended to subdue him and ask where in this space he could find a core that could increase mental attributes.
So, Zhou Tian, driven by an insatiable desire to win, naturally wouldn't easily give up on his craving for victory.
