Demigods had reason to be proud; the difficulty of reaching such heights was something only they truly understood. When facing someone on the same level as Zhou Tian, this particular demigod had never been afraid. Yet, despite his great confidence in his own strength, when he saw Zhou Tian's performance, he still had a sense of foreboding.
Since he wasn't a newcomer to this realm like Zhou Tian, the demigod was well aware of his own weaknesses. Knowing what they were, he would naturally try to prevent Zhou Tian from exploiting them.
Clearly aware that his attack power was insufficient, the demigod would neither hide from Zhou Tian nor would he engage in a desperate fight with him. He knew that if a battle truly escalated to that extent, he'd very likely face defeat.
Reluctantly, yet for the sake of safety, the demigod prepared to retreat when Zhou Tian approached him.
