Ning Cheng had no idea how long he had been descending, only that his Limitless Azure Thunder City was continually shrinking. When the Limitless Azure Thunder City shrunk to less than a ten-yard square, Ning Cheng's feet finally touched solid ground.
The stone slabs underfoot were all dark crimson, as if stained by blood. Around him, whimpers and shrill cries echoed, and Ning Cheng simply could not pinpoint where these sounds were coming from.
Ignoring the sounds around him, Ning Cheng continued seeking out Grey Toot's aura. Even though Limitless Azure Thunder City shielded him from the dark waters of the Yellow Spring Pool, with every step, Ning Cheng still left deep footprints on the dark crimson stone slabs.
