"We're saved." said a blonde teenager in a suspender shirt and denim shorts, about seventeen years old, her face lit up with excitement as she reached out to push the bed blocking the door.
"Wait, what if they can't beat the zombies?" A red-haired young woman grabbed the girl's hand, shaking her head, "Let's wait till they finish them off before we go out."
"You don't think so?" The girl's face immediately fell.
"Laurie is right, listen to the gunshots, seems like there's only one, perhaps no more than three people, but outside there are at least sixty zombies. Do you think they can win?" Steven, a tall Caucasian who had previously worked in a gun store and was familiar with gunshots, explained.
The black man, Andrew, didn't speak but nodded in agreement with Steven's opinion. They had managed to escape to this spot, relying on Steven's shooting skills and rescue, after being separated from the team during the chase by zombies, and so they trusted his judgment deeply.
