Being bound by both legs, Lin Weiguo couldn't dodge the sand spears. They pierced the old soldier's body, making him appear as a hedgehog, but he remained unharmed.
The old soldier lopped off one of the Scorpion King's arms and continued to attack, shaking his shoulders, causing the sand armor to peel off casting a cloud of yellow dust, momentarily blocking the Scorpion King's sight. He then quickly slashed at the neck of the Scorpion King, where he had aimed earlier.
Amidst the sand and dust, the Scorpion King's head flew up into the sky, with a mixture of fresh blood and sand gushing from the severed neck.
"How dare you hurt the Scorpion King, I will kill you!" The airborne head shouted angrily at Lin Weiguo.
The old soldier didn't waver and slashed again, splitting its body into two. A crack appeared and then it crumbled into a pile of yellow sand.
"It's not dead yet." Lin Weiguo shouted as a warning because his body was still sinking, as if he'd fallen into quicksand.
