Humans' individual combat skills are inferior to those of the Beastman Soldiers, especially the elite Guard Team, a single human wouldn't stand a chance. The only reason they managed to resist for so many years is their numbers and high technology. However, as time passed, the numerical advantage had been equalled, even surpassed by the Beastmen's frightening reproductive capacity. The high-tech edge had faded due to the shrinking living space and loss of technical personnel, leading the humans to be driven to the base by the Beastman army. Nevertheless, the last refuge for mankind was on the verge of destruction.
A dozen or so sergeants were running around on the battlefield, shouting for everyone to get into battle positions. Civilian soldiers, trembling with fear, were forced into the trenches under the escort of veterans. Some were busy placing boxes of ammunition nearby for the soldiers to use.
