Black Lightning flickered, descending upon the rooftop with a tremendous roar and striking everything in its path!
The survivors felt as if they had entered a dense jungle of lightning, with no escape available. One by one, they were hit directly. Except for the Conquerors who had activated their shields, all the newbies were heavily damaged, collapsed on the ground, their bodies paralyzed, temporarily unable to move.
Anna was no exception. She was struck by the electric shock and fell to the ground. Being just a newbie, her accumulated points were meager, and she couldn't afford a shield. Moreover, even if she did manage to capture one, the more powerful members were given the priority to choose first.
