The source of the light came from a bonfire within a fireplace, and Luo'er saw that outside the door there was a simple living room with just a sofa and a fireplace. There was not a single lamp in the entire living room, with only the bonfire in the fireplace casting a warm glow.
Next to the fireplace was a single-seater sofa, upon which someone appeared to be sitting with their back towards him. Luo'er could only see the person's back and was unable to determine who it actually was.
Luo'er swallowed, then slowly lifted his foot and walked towards the living room. He approached the fireplace, and the closer he got to it, the more intensely he felt the fiery glow.
Upon reaching the fireplace, Luo'er carefully observed the person sitting on the sofa. The person sat there with their head lowered, seemingly holding something in their arms. Even as Luo'er approached, they made no movement.
