"You're back!" The newcomer looked up at the two, and her usually impassive face immediately took on an expression of joy.
It was probably only in Luo'er's presence that Feng would show such animated emotions. Most of the time, she was so indifferent that others might think she was just a doll.
"Why did you jump down from such a high place? You could have gotten hurt," Luo'er said with a slightly reproving look as he scanned her from head to toe.
"No, no harm done," Feng replied excitedly, shaking her head.
"How are they? You didn't encounter any trouble, did you?" Luo'er looked up before asking.
"No trouble, nothing wrong all day yesterday, and nothing at night," Feng said earnestly, shaking her head.
"Good." Luo'er paused for a moment, pondering. He seemed hesitant to speak. After a while, he decided to let Feng in on their suspicions.
"Feng, what I am about to tell you, you must absolutely not reveal to Eve and her brother, understood?" Luo'er leaned in close and whispered.
