"Fula, are you asleep?" After a moment of concentrated observation, Luo'er felt somewhat uneasy and decided to send Fulajie'er out for reconnaissance.
"I don't need to sleep." As the voice sounded, the figure of Fulajie'er appeared beside Luo'er.
In the dim light, Luo'er could see her form made up of gentle light, like a little elf descending upon the Earth in the dead of night. She radiated a soft white light that wasn't blinding but instead gave off a halo of light around her.
"Sorry, I almost forgot." Luo'er scratched his head, speaking apologetically.
"No, it's okay..." Fulajie'er vigorously shook her head, a faint smile appearing on her face.
Luo'er's concern about whether she was asleep clearly showed he still regarded her as a living person, not just a ghost that could be used, and this inexplicably warmed Fulajie'er's heart.
"Fula, go see what's happening, I keep feeling there's something odd going on," Luo'er instructed her.
