"I just sprained my leg when I landed," Luoer explained helplessly.
"Are you going to die?" Fulajie'er sniffled, asking timidly.
"I'm not!" Luoer waved off and said with a bitter smile.
"Then, you right now..." Fulajie'er, living primarily during the night and being a ghost, could relatively easily see Luoer in the darkness. She looked at him, seemingly wanting to say something but holding back.
However, Luoer definitely couldn't see her, which was why ghosts have such great destructive power against Otherworlders. If Luoer didn't know Fulajie'er and suddenly heard such a voice in the darkness where he couldn't see his own hand, he'd be scared out of his wits.
Laying on the grass, Luoer was breathing heavily to alleviate the intense pain in his joints. Despite his condition, he made sure to remind Fulajie'er, "Fula, Fula, go up and tell everyone that I'm fine now."
"I want to stay and protect you," Fulajie'er said seriously.
