"Hmm, I believe you," the old man nodded and said.
The flames from the burning Book of Prophecy illuminated the room significantly. Luo'er stared at the burning book, an odd expression crossing his face.
Looking at his own palm, he bit his lip and murmured, "No matter what I do, I'm just the cause of the ending, isn't it?"
"Luo'er?" Detecting something off with Luo'er, Tangmo couldn't help but calling out to him from behind.
"Oh, it's nothing," Luo'er turned back and smiled at her and then turned to the old man and asked, "Before we have enough information, you won't die, right?"
"Of course," the old man nodded and added with a smile, "But I should remind you to hurry up because today is almost over."
"Okay then," Luo'er nodded and redirected his focus onto the girl, "Let's talk about her."
"Sure, what do you want to ask?" The old man was not surprised, but appeared to have expected this.
