Hearing Cheng Ziang's words, Luoya fell into deep thought with the jade pendant in her hand. Seeing her quiet and downward gaze, Cheng couldn't resist teasing, "Do you want me to help you put it on?"
Luoya looked up at him, her brows furrowed and her cheeks noticeably flushed. As she stowed the pendant into a red envelope and slipped it into her inner pocket, she maintained a wary gaze on Cheng.
"I was just joking, don't take it seriously." Cheng explains, feeling a bit uneasy under her stern gaze.
Then, Luoya took a soft sigh, moving to one side with a melancholic expression as if worried about something.
"What's the matter?" Cheng immediately walked up to her and asked from behind.
Turning her head to him, Luoya hesitated before murmuring, "I, I'm about to leave for Earth and, I'm a bit scared..."
Her last words were so quiet, he wouldn't have heard them if he weren't so close.
"What's there to be afraid of?" Cheng asked, puzzled.
