This was a medium-range missile with a payload of 200 kilograms, causing a brilliant flash of light upon explosion that illuminated everything around it. This was followed by an intense shock wave and a deafening explosion. If it were day, everyone would have been able to witness the shock wave rippling out of the explosion.
The first missile blasted away half of the giant creature's body. To make matters worse, there was more than one of these missiles.
