"This isn't a simple matter," Hu Daoke, stroking his chin and voicing his surprise said, "Who'd have thought such a backward otherworld could actually have something so SciFi as a consciousness network."
"Don't marvel at their achievement - this technology isn't originally theirs," Nightingale said indifferently.
"It's not theirs?" Luo'er asked, looking at her.
"Have you ever heard of the ancestors?" Nightingale asked.
"The ancestors..." At the mention of the ancestors, Luo'er immediately thought of the Otherworld Gate. He exchanged a glance with Cheng Ziang and nodded.
"The consciousness network technology originates from an ancestral artifact. My father spent most of his life deciphering this artifact but his achievement was stolen." Nightingale said, a touch of regret in her tone. Perhaps due to the passage of time, she could no longer harbor the anger towards what had transpired before.
